We all know that Halloween is a rather American Spanish tradition, but. The reason for over 8 years celebration in my house this foreign party, is not tied to a religious tradition, such as the celebration of Christmas, or pagan, such as actually has an explanation over celebration ritual that serves as a festive gathering excuse.
The Halloween celebration at home, started to get my oldest son could invite their friends class (7 years old) home, and that all could snack and disguise what they wanted, it was not essential that they should come dressed up as ghosts, mummies or witches, the requirement was simply to come in costume. That idea and the power up and down every floor ringing the doorbell to ask for sweets and it was exciting and thrilling for children.
Year after year, keeping the spirit of party or social gathering, we have incorporated new props and decor of the room according to Halloween night: a spider web, spiders hanging, stickers on the windows, background music, something dark, one pumpkin and a skull at the entrance to welcome the friends, etc. To a servant, he disguises to keep the suspense ...
For a couple of years ago, my little daughter has joined this same 'illusion' and one month before the date of Halloween you're asking me if we will organize the party that looks forward. She especially interested in what is important for us that day, her friends snacking well, who like decorating the house, in short, what we've all always wanted: to spend a happy day!
In short, all parents or teachers could organize at any time, for whatever reason or any excuse, a small party or gathering where friends of our children come home to enjoy and participate in a celebration and a friendly atmosphere esoteric, nothing more, 'nothing less'.
At last, I wanna tell you that it is important to prepare some of the props that used in this day, such as, bird head mask, funny latex masks, halloween eye patch, smiling halloween mask, etc. Although they are small gadgets and cheap prices, they will play an prominent role in this day. Just enjoy yourself!
