Eachine E55 Review

The Dobby of Zerotech (see test here) has emulated to satisfy the small budgets, such as this Eachine E55. The device, like the Dobby, is designed to be as compact as possible with a system filled with its motor arms. Closed, it measures 6.6 x 6.6 x 2.5 cm. Once unfolded, it measures 11.4 x 11.7 cm for a diagonal of motor motor of 16 cm. Its weight is 45 grams with its battery, a Lipo 1S of 300 mAh and 25C for a autonomy between 6 and 8 minutes according to the datasheet.

And…

On board, there is a camera capable of filming in 720 x 576 pixels at 30 frames per second. Images are sent in real time to an iOS or Android smartphone. More or less in real time, since wifi links introduce a high latency. The unit is operated with a smartphone or radio control, supplied. To simplify the life of the driver, the E55 is based on an altimeter barometer to maintain its height alone, and a Headless function (which should not be expected very much). The range indicated by the data sheet is 50 meters - this is undoubtedly the maximum under good reception conditions.

The price !

Eachine E55 will be offered at less than 35 € at Banggood (with port but without taxes), in white, black or red. The BnF version (without radio control) is sold only a few euros less. So, what's the value of Dobby? The E55 is missing the GPS, position sensors, 4K camera, image stabilization, voice control, Follow Me, face recognition ... A toy, therefore, not to be confused with the original.

Additionally, if you happen need to purchase some rc drone parts, you can search via Banggood website, which is one of the wholesale platform to provide affordable prices, such as wearable gopro, feiyu tech g4, etc.
